Lessons - The Riding School
The Riding Academy - Scout Badges
Beginner - Advanced - Group - Private - Adult - Youth
You decide when and how many lessons are right for you, however, we recommend at least five lessons to gain a basic understanding of beginning horsemanship, or to brush up on your existing skills.
Lessons involve total horsemanship, not just riding, so come prepared to learn more. You will not only learn proper riding skills, you will learn about feeding, grooming, safety, how to properly care for your own horse and proper care of tack and equipment. We do not believe in just riding in an arena. We want to expose our students to as many different aspects of riding as possible to give them a well-rounded riding experience.
You will not only enjoy one on one instruction, you will get to ride with others in the arena's, and learn to navigate the trails around Lake Benbrook. We believe the more you experience on horseback, the better rider you become. Be ready to be exposed to all types of terrain, trails, riding with others and more.
If you are wanting to purchase a horse, and want to learn how to care for him properly, we can definitely show you how.

We welcome riders of all ages and all levels including; children and adult beginners, adults coming back to their passion of riding after a hiatus, serious competitors and
We approach our lessons with a “whole horse” attitude. We like to teach our students about horses as an animal and a riding partner. Students learn to catch and halter their horse in the field or stall, groom, and tack their horses. Also, at the end of each lesson they take care of their horse after the ride.
If it's raining outside, there is still plenty to learn inside, so come ready to learn!!
